In celebration of the company’s 100th Anniversary, Andy J Egan Co. Inc., is awarding ten (10) West Michigan-based nonprofits $10,000 each throughout 2019.

How to Enter: For a chance to win $10,000 from Andy J. Egan Co. Inc. (Egan), an eligible organization must submit an entry via www.andyegan.com between 8:00 a.m. ET on January 14, 2019 and 4:00 p.m. ET on January 28, 2019.

Members of the Egan 100th Anniversary Committee will select the winners based on (a) the organization’s impact on the West Michigan community, (b) the potential impact of a $10,000 donation, and (c) persuasiveness of the application. The Committee will select one (1) winner each month beginning February 2019 and ending November 2019. Winners will be contacted on or about the 10th of each month, and announced to the public on or about the 20th of each month.

Eligibility: Limit one entry per organization. Entrants must have a current 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(19) tax-exemption and be a non-profit located in and/or serving the West Michigan community. Entries will only be accepted via www.andyegan.com. Incomplete entries will not be considered. Egan is not responsible for technical malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate or delayed submissions. An eligible organization will be awarded no more than one (1) $10,000 prize.

Requirements: By entering the contest, applicant consents to Egan’s use of the organization’s name and other submitted information in promotions related to the contest and Egan’s 100th Anniversary. All information submitted to the contest becomes the property of Egan.

Winning organizations agree to make a reasonable effort to participate in marketing their receipt of the $10,000 prize. This may include, but is not limited to, an in-person presentation of prize money, media relations or social media campaign, corporate communications, etc. Winning organizations agree to provide an electronic copy of their logo for use in the aforementioned marketing campaigns. Any photos, video recordings or other media content created as a result of such marketing becomes the property of Egan. Winning organizations must agree to coordinate the timing of any announcement of prize money jointly with Egan, and will not publicly announce their prize prior to Egan’s announcement or without Egan’s consent. Egan reserves the right to terminate, suspend or modify this program, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice or obligation. Decisions of Egan will be final and binding on all matters pertaining to this giveaway. No purchase necessary. By participating in this giveaway, the entrant agrees that Egan has no liability whatsoever and shall be released from and held harmless by entrant against any and all liability, losses, or damages, arising out of or relating to this giveaway.

When can my organization apply?

Can I email, drop off or mail in my application?

All applications must be submitted through the form on www.Egan100.com. We will not consider any applications – paper or electronic – that are hand-delivered, sent via email or mailed to our office.

How will winners be selected?

I work for Egan. Can my favorite charity apply?

Yes! Egan is encouraging employees to tell their favorite organizations about the giveaway. The employee may be asked to participate in the presentation of prize money to the organization, if selected.

I don’t know anyone who works at Egan. Can my organization still apply?

Yes! An employee referral is not a requirement to apply. If an organization is selected that has ties to an Egan employee, we may ask that individual to participate in awarding the organization with its prize money.

When will winners be announced?

Beginning in February, Egan will contact the winner on or about the 10th day of each month. Egan will announce the winners to the general public on or about the 20th day of each month.

Where can I find a list of winners?

Egan will post winning organizations on www.Egan100.com, as well as our social media channels.

Are there any requirements for the organizations that are selected?

Organizations that are selected agree to allow the use of their name and/or logo in any marketing or promotions related to the Egan $100k Community Giveaway. Egan will ask the organization to make reasonable arrangements for a formal presentation of a $10,000 check, and marketing staff from Egan will document that presentation in photo and/or video for use in continued promotion of the giveaway. Following the distribution of prize money, Egan may request follow up information regarding how the organization used that prize money, including any quantifiable information on community impact, photos or images.
