GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.--City of Walker Mayor Gary Carey Jr. yesterday formally recognized the 100th Anniversary of Andy J. Egan Co., Inc. (Egan) during the Walker City Commission meeting. Mayor Carey issued a proclamation that detailed the company's impact on the city of Walker -- where Egan is headquartered -- and the surrounding community, proclaiming Monday, May 13, 2019 to be "Andy J. Egan Day in the City of Walker." Representing the third and fourth generation of family ownership, Egan Chairman Tom Jasper, President Andy Jasper and Vice President Amy Jones were on hand to witness the proclamation. Michigan State Senator Peter MacGregor and State Representative Mark Huizenga, who both represent the city of Walker, also jointly issued a special tribute to honor Egan's 100th Anniversary.
