"The college has aggressively pursued a number of energy conservation strategies over the last decade but none more effective than our investment in building controls and monitoring systems. During this period, Kalamazoo College's energy cost savings (avoidance) have totaled $1.9 million and our work with Egan has contributed to a very significant share of those savings."
